This confectionery is made by assembling a piece of nougat covered with roasted peanuts and caramel , all coated in milk chocolate . Snickers is the best-selling chocolate bar brand of all time: its global sales reach 2 billion US dollars annually, thus contributing to the fortune of the Mars family .

The 50g Snickers bar  sold in France has an energy value of 242  kcal .
